The very fact that you are curious or committed enough to be reading this text would suggest that you have some sense of your own identity as a Zoroastrian or at least as a friend of a Zoroastrian.

So, if you join us, you will be helping to strengthen our resolve in continuing with our efforts. What’s more by joining us, you join the community of caring Zoroastrians and Friends who wish to see our community prosper and you will be able to participate in and shape events that take place in your area.

We are a very small community, with probably no more than 150,000 adherents in the world with a population of 8 billion. About half of our numbers are now living outside India,Pakistan or Iran. If we attach any importance to the continued existence of Zoroastrianism in the world, then we need to keep ourselves informed about what is going on within our communities worldwide and how we can make a difference.

WZO is a registered charity in several countries (see Locations map) with the aim of assisting in any way possible those Zoroastrians who contact us for help. For example we have helped build new houses, provided employment projects, paid for medical costs and made educational loans and grants in India and other parts of the world.
WZO is an inclusive organisation and we host social and cultural events which encourage members and friends to come together to enjoy each other’s company. We also assist if required, in arranging Zoroastrian blessing ceremonies at interfaith weddings and we also can help with contacts for initiations (sedreh pooshi or navjote).
By joining us, you will receive the excellent magazine Hamazor 4 times a year. It will reinforce to your family that you belong to a wider community, however small it may appear from your perspective. The attractive articles are contributed by writers all over the world on a wide range of topics. The magazine will help your family, and particularly your children if you have any, realise that it is a community worth supporting.
Please join – it is not an expensive membership and we feel sure that you will not miss the little it takes to do so.  If you are moved towards a particularly generous gesture you can sign up as a Patron or Grand Patron, which is, of course, for life.  And if you simply want to be in the loop and not have to deal with the hassle of renewal, then you can apply for life membership either as a family unit or as an individual which is what most people opt for.
Those persons who have a keen interest in WZO and/or Zoroastrianism but do not fulfil our membership criteria, can apply to be a Friend of WZO, either as a Life or an Ordinary (renewable every year) member. We very much hope that we shall be hearing from you shortly!! Thank you for reading this page.Join WZO Now
